Christian Drug Rehabilitation

Drug rehabilitation centers offer a myriad of treatment options including Christian drug rehabilitation. At Pacific Hills' drug rehabilitation center, the dual diagnosis component of our program addresses issues of clients who deal with psychiatric or emotional disorders, or those who may already be on medication, and those clients will be referred to our consulting psychiatrist. Many drug rehabilitation centers do not offer treatment for co-occurring issues although many clients suffer with dual diagnosis situations and must be treated accordingly to successfully participate in the drug rehabilitation center's treatment process.

In addition, one of our psychotherapists will meet weekly with clients admitted to our drug rehabilitation center. These therapy sessions enable our clients to learn how to be more receptive to treatment. Through group and individual therapy, our therapists help clients identify their emotional and behavioral issues that need to be addressed once they leave our drug rehabilitation center's primary treatment. To this, a Christian drug rehabilitation center will add spiritual counseling and support.

Pacific Hills' drug rehabilitation centers agree with the evidence provided by the National Institute on Drug Abuse that shows men and women need different prevention and treatment methods. Our drug rehabilitation center endorses this evidence by providing gender-specific treatment that emphasizes the biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors that influence an individual's substance abuse.

Many clients who contact Pacific Hills' drug rehabilitation center require detoxification prior to admission into our residential program. Some may also require a formal intervention. Our drug rehabilitation center's intake counselors provide referrals for those clients who need either professional intervention and/or detoxification prior to beginning our drug rehabilitation center's treatment.

The Christian program offered at Pacific Hills' drug rehabilitation center stands out as another unique element to our treatment program. Two 12-Step programs are offered: Christian and Traditional. The Christian program at our drug rehabilitation center presents a biblical approach to recovery and is Christ-centered, using Pastoral counselors. The Traditional program allows the client to enter treatment based on God as the individual may understand him (as presented in Alcoholics Anonymous). Quality Christian drug rehabilitation centers will offer both spiritual tracks.

Relapse-prevention is taught and clients learn how to recognize warning signs. Our drug rehabilitation center also teaches clients how to incorporate exercise and good nutrition into their lives. Clients while at Christian drug rehabilitation programs attend daily AA meetings, which introduces the concept of sponsorship and encourages our drug rehabilitation center's graduates to obtain AA sponsors once they return home. Family members are also encouraged to attend weekend therapy sessions with their loved ones. And, Pacific Hills' drug rehabilitation center invites alumni to attend alumni activities.

Pacific Hills' drug rehabilitation centers offer Residential Inpatient, Transitional Care, Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Treatment. Our drug rehabilitation center is state-licensed and CARF accredited. This accreditation affirms the fact that their Christian drug rehabilitation program is one of the most unique available.

Clients who complete our drug rehabilitation center's program will be equipped to begin a life of recovery by learning how chemical addictions has impacted them, as well as learn how their mental and emotional disorders have contributed to their addiction. With the help of our drug rehabilitation center's staff, the client will also have developed a recovery program based upon spiritual principles (as in Alcoholics Anonymous), be prepared to prevent possible relapse and realize that they are now part of the community of recovery with support from Pacific Hills' drug rehabilitation center and Alcoholics Anonymous.
