Drug Treatment Program
The hunt for a drug treatment program will lead your search to various treatment programs available, most common being Residential Inpatient, Day Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Treatment. However, you will be amazed to discover that Pacific Hills treatment center offers all the three forms of drug treatments along with a Transitional Care phase which is an extension of our Residential Inpatient program.
The admission process starts with a phone call, sometimes from the addict’s family or friend. They play a critical role in motivating the individuals to take up treatment at a rehab center. Their active involvement adds to the benefits of the program.
Pacific Hills Treatment Centers Inc. not only helps to prevent drug use but also aims at streamlining the individual back into productive life with family, friends, work and community. We measure the performance of individuals based on their behavior, family functioning, employment and medical conditions.
Post admission, the staff at Pacific Hills’ drug treatment program and the clinical staff conduct medical and psychological-social assessment of the patients to evaluate them. The psychological assessment is done to find out if the patient suffers from any psychiatric or emotional disorders. These co-occurring disorders can affect the treatment process unless treated simultaneously.
The patients who enroll for our Residential Inpatient program attend both group and individual therapies, lectures, relapse-prevention workshops, Big Book study, Alcoholics Anonymous 12 Step meetings, exercise sessions and family counseling. Each patient is managed by a case manager who develops a strategy for his/her long term recovery post discharge. The patient has the choice to continue with the four week Transitional care drug treatment program that is conducted in a semi-structured environment where half-day courses continue to educate and support the client in his path to recovery.
A Day Treatment program is also available at Pacific Hills. This program suits the local residents who may already be living in a drug-free environment. This program is conducted over four to six week cycle. Its curriculum is the same as our Residential Inpatient drug treatment program.
Another option of Intensive Outpatient drug treatment program is also available at Pacific Hills. Patients who opt for this treatment do not require close supervision. Clients who enroll in the drug treatment program receive a minimum of 12 hours of group and individual instruction per week as well and attend workshops.
