Inpatient alcohol treatment

Does Pacific Hills offer inpatient alcohol treatment and inpatient drug treatment?

For over 12 years, Pacific Hills has offered inpatient alcohol treatment and inpatient drug treatment by providing highly structured programs in which the clients remain for at least four weeks. Some people abuse both drugs and alcohol, and Pacific Hills can help these dually addicted clients. The first step of Pacific Hills' inpatient alcohol treatment and inpatient drug treatment is assessment. Clients start treatment with medical and psycho-social assessments to determine if they have a medical condition or co-occurring disorder such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, etc. If medical conditions are present, the client will be referred to our consulting physician. Prescribed medications are often an important part of inpatient alcohol and drug treatment.

If the client shows signs of co-occurring disorders (mental issues), they will meet with our consulting psychiatrist who will evaluate and continue to treat them as needed throughout their inpatient alcohol and drug treatment. Pacific Hills uses an integrated approach for clients with both addiction and mental health problems.

People who abuse drugs and alcohol sometimes need to change their environment if they are to begin a life of sobriety. By admitting into our inpatient alcohol treatment and inpatient drug treatment, the client is socially removed from his or her former crowd, who may also be abusing drugs and/or alcohol. Clients learn in our inpatient alcohol treatment and inpatient drug treatment how to identify and deal with high-risk situations that could threaten their newly found sobriety, causing relapse. Our residential inpatient alcohol and drug treatment gives the client a solid base to produce stable behavioral change. Clients learn that drug and alcohol addiction is a brain disease that has affected their behavior and recovery from their addiction requires effective treatment, followed by management of the problem over time.

When clients have completed Pacific Hills' inpatient alcohol and drug treatment, they have the option to continue for an additional four weeks of Transitional Care. The client and their case manager started planning a strategy for long-term recovery when the client first admitted into the inpatient alcohol treatment or inpatient drug treatment. In Transitional Care, clients continue their treatment and training in a semi-structured, sobriety-valued environment.

It starts with a phone call. Please call Pacific Hills with your questions regarding inpatient alcohol treatment and inpatient drug treatment.

"I'd like to tell anyone out there that really is looking for hope, to let them know that there is hope at Pacific Hills.  We saw our daughter go through such a difficult time in her life and now I can look at her and I can see my wonderful, beautiful daughter back once again.”
