Treatment of Alcohol
Alcohol abuse is not only harmful to ones health; it also affects interpersonal relationships, leading to the destruction of the family, career and even ones spirituality.
Today, millions of people go in and out of rehab, hoping to receive quality treatment. One wonders why treatment of alcohol works for some people, while others visit rehab many times with little to show for their investment.
The answer is simple many treatment programs do not commit to treating the whole person. Successful centers such as Pacific Hills Treatment Centers, Inc. include balanced, comprehensive programs that address the biological, social, spiritual and psychological makeup of the human condition. In addition, relapse prevention and post-treatment support should be available.

It all starts with a call
Treatment of alcohol starts with a single phone call. Pick up the phone and dial 866.536.7158 to talk to a counselor about your situation.Their call center helps families understand the nature of the disease of substance abuse and ease their loved one into enrolling in a rehab program and, if requested, can help with intervention if necessary.
The process
Treatment of alcohol should not be rigid, but should be in a relaxed environment, allowing the patient to reflect and address the underlying issues surrounding their addiction.
There are three types of alcohol treatment program options available at Pacific Hills: Residential Inpatient (primary), Day Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP).
With the residential inpatient program, the patient checks in the center for a minimum of 28 days. Treatment programs include lectures, workshops, group therapy, individual counseling, relapse prevention and family group counseling. Medical and psychiatric support are also important elements in the program, targeting both emotional and physical recovery.
For those who prefer and are able, a day treatment program is offered, wherein clients experience the same treatment as an inpatient program, but they are not required to live in the center. Day treatment programs are usually available from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM and patients can avail themselves of healing processes that may include spiritual guidance, personal counseling, group therapy, mentoring and medical support.
Finally, for those who qualify, one can simply elect to enroll in the outpatient (evening) treatment program, where an abbreviated, yet intensive program is offered, allowing the client to opt to stay home while working and carrying on various aspects of their life.
For the treatment of alcohol abuse, Pacific Hills Treatment Centers, Inc. offers the best and most affordable treatment programs available. While some centers offer only one treatment program, Pacific Hills offers individually planned treatment models, providing the opportunity to choose which among them will best address the client addiction issues.
